An administrative case related to the violation of legal documents on state symbols of Uzbekistan was considered at the Mirabad District Court against 21-year-old Sh.M. regarding criminal cases.
According to the case materials, on October 28 of last year, Sh.M. participated in the "Miss Earth 2025" international contest held in Manila, the capital of the Philippines. During the event, she appeared on stage with images of the state flag and the republic's coat of arms. Subsequently, the participant took photos in this look and posted the pictures on her Instagram page.
During the court session, the girl stated that she was inspired by state symbols when creating the costume, but noted that the mandatory elements of the flag - the crescent and twelve stars - were not present on the clothing, only the color scheme was used.
The plaintiff emphasized that the use of state symbols as an element of clothing, regardless of artistic idea and form of presentation, contradicts legislative requirements. The court ruling also noted that the use of the state flag as clothing is directly prohibited by law.
The court found Sh.M. guilty under Part 1 of Article 203-1 of the Administrative Code (violation of legislation on state symbols) and imposed a fine on her in the amount of 2 times the BHM (824 thousand soums).
