The State Security Service reported that a 46-year-old drug dealer and his accomplice were caught red-handed while selling "hashish" in Tashkent city.
According to information, during an operational event in the Chinaz district of Tashkent region, a resident of Bekabad city, born in 1980 and previously convicted for drug trafficking, was caught in the act of selling 200 grams of "hashish" to a conditional buyer for 50 million soums.
During the operation, this person was also apprehended while handing over 6.9 million soums of the received money to his fellow townsman, born in 1989, and 500 grams of "hashish" substance was found on the latter.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against these individuals under Article 273 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and investigative actions are being carried out.
