In Uzbekistan, the activities of 18 organized criminal groups have been stopped.

Citizens have obtained 104 various illegally held firearms, 987 rounds of ammunition, and 1.5 kg of explosive substances as material evidence.

Since January 20 of this year, extensive search and operational measures have been carried out in cooperation with the State Security Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs in order to stabilize the criminal situation in the country.

It is reported that during more than 2,600 operational measures, the activities of 18 organized criminal groups were stopped, and legal measures were taken regarding crimes committed by 51 groups. Furthermore, 104 various types of weapons illegally held by citizens, 987 rounds of ammunition, and 1.5 kg of explosive substances were seized as material evidence.

In addition, 123 kg of narcotic substances, as well as 57 thousand units of psychotropic and potent drugs, were officially seized in accordance with procedural order. It is noted that work in this direction continues.
