On January 31, an explosion of a gas-air mixture occurred in a two-story house in the Karakul district of the Bukhara region. The information service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported about this.
It is noted that at 08:23, a report was received via the 112 system about an explosion of a gas-air mixture in one of the rooms of a two-story residential building located on Shorobod Street, belonging to the "Tinchlik" neighborhood citizens' assembly of Karakul district.
EMERCOM rescuers and other relevant services arrived at the scene. Currently, work is underway to eliminate the consequences of the explosion.
According to preliminary information, the explosion is estimated to have occurred as a result of gas leaking during the use of gas connected to a stove.
As a result of the incident, 2 citizens received bodily injuries and were sent to the hospital. There are no fatalities.
