The tennis player announced this on his Instagram page. According to him, he is not ready for competitions because the injury on his right forearm has not fully healed yet.

Earlier, Alcaraz had missed the Madrid Masters tournament and the ATP 500 event in Barcelona due to his injury. It later became known that he would also not participate in the French Open and the Rome Masters.

"The recovery process is going as planned and I feel much better. But I am not yet ready to compete. Therefore, I have decided to withdraw from the London tournament and Wimbledon. These were very important tournaments for me, and I will miss them," wrote Alcaraz.

For the record, the 23-year-old tennis player won the Australian Open and the Doha tournament this season. At the 2025 Wimbledon, he reached the final, where he lost to Jannik Sinner in the decisive match.
