Demonstrators protesting the activities of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) once again filled the streets of several US cities.
The Washington Post (WP) publication reported on this. "ICE – no!" the newspaper quotes the chanters.
According to the newspaper, on January 30, waves of protest demonstrations surged in Minneapolis, Washington, New York, and other US cities. That day, thousands of demonstrators stayed home from work and school, and businesses temporarily closed.
These protests occurred again after federal officers used service weapons twice against demonstrators and fired shots to kill. These incidents occurred on January 7 and 24. The circumstances of these incidents are under investigation. In both cases, the White House is blaming the demonstrators.
