A serious traffic accident occurred in the city of Antalya on February 1. According to the publication "Mersin Haber", as a result of the incident, 8 people died, and 26 passengers were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity.
It is reported that the bus was traveling from Tekirdağ province to Antalya. The driver lost control, broke through a roadside barrier, and the vehicle fell into a ravine. As a result, passengers inside the bus were trapped.
According to Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin, the bus could not handle the turn and veered off the road, overturning. According to the latest information, all of the deceased are believed to be Turkish citizens. Some of the injured are in serious condition. There were a total of 34 people on the bus.
It is said that the bus belongs to the company "Buzlu Turizm". Currently, medical personnel and rescuers are working at the scene, and experts are determining the causes of the accident.
