A father who deliberately evaded alimony payments and was hiding was found in a neighbor's house in the Chinaz district of the Tashkent region. Zamon.uz reported on this.
It is reported that, based on a court order from the Quyi Chirchiq Inter-District Court, debtor S.D. was ordered to pay alimony in the amount of one-quarter of his income for the support of one minor child. The enforcement document was accepted for proceedings by the Chinaz district department of the Bureau.
Despite being warned several times, the debtor did not pay a total of 21 million soums in alimony debt from January 1, 2025 to January 1, 2026. After that, a search was declared for him.
During urgent search measures, it was established that the debtor was hiding in a neighbor's house. The documents were formalized and the case was sent to the Chinaz District Court for Criminal Cases.
By court decision, S.D. was sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest.
