Shavkat Mirziyoyev left for an official visit to Pakistan on February 5.
High-level talks and a meeting of the Strategic Partnership Council are being held in Islamabad.
The leaders of Uzbekistan and Pakistan will discuss strengthening friendly and strategic partnership relations, as well as expanding joint investment and trade cooperation.
A joint declaration and a number of bilateral documents are expected to be signed at the conclusion of the summit.
As part of the state visit, the head of state will also participate in a joint business forum and other events.
