On the evening of February 14, a group of street hooligans was detained during a rapid operation carried out by employees of the Tashkent Regional Department of Internal Affairs. The department's press service reported this via its official page.
It is noted that during the operation, a total of 17 individuals belonging to two groups from the capital and the region, who attempted to resolve mutual disagreements through violent means, were identified and apprehended. According to preliminary information, they were engaged in street hooliganism and disturbed public order.
Documents collected regarding this incident have been submitted to the court. According to the court's decision, 12 of the detained individuals have been sentenced to 5 days of administrative detention, and 5 individuals to 10 days.
