During an event held in Tashkent with the cooperation of state security and economic crime prevention agencies, the head of a private enterprise engaged in the trade of medical reagents was caught while selling 20 units of expired reagents for 16 million soums.
Furthermore, expired and counterfeit products with a total value exceeding 2 billion soums were found in warehouses in the capital and the region.
Substandard reagents can lead to incorrect diagnosis and treatment. Currently, pre-expertise and pre-investigation checks are being carried out.
