According to the information, a man and a woman came to Tashkent on a business trip to participate in sports competitions. On the night from December 18 to 19, the man entered the woman's hotel room under the pretext of having supper.
Despite the woman refusing his advances, the man attempted to engage in sexual acts. In court, the victim stated that she clearly expressed her non-consent, after which the man threw her onto the bed and tried to strangle her with a pillow. The woman resisted and managed to leave the room.
In court, the man admitted his guilt. The court found him guilty under Article 41-1 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility (sexual harassment) and sentenced him to 5 days of administrative arrest.
