Citizens who find themselves in a difficult situation can be allocated a one-time allowance, funds for an air ticket and medical expenses.

According to the Migration Agency's information, citizens of Uzbekistan working abroad who find themselves in difficult circumstances will be provided with material and legal assistance.

It is reported that citizens who have fallen into a severe financial situation can be allocated a one-time assistance ranging from 3 to 5 times the base calculation amount. If necessary, based on an application, an air ticket for returning to the homeland will also be provided.

Furthermore, medical expenses from 1,000 to 1,500 dollars for citizens who have contracted a serious illness or suffered an accident abroad can be covered. Those left without a place to live will be provided with hostel accommodation for up to 30 days.

There is also the possibility of repatriating women and their children who have found themselves in a difficult situation back to their homeland free of charge.
