The body of a woman found in an empty plot in Turkey's Balıkesir province has been identified as belonging to 46-year-old Uzbek citizen Dilafruz Chuliyeva, who had been missing since January 21. This was reported by the publication "Haber Turk".

It was reported that information was received about a body found in the Çamdibi neighborhood of Havran district, Balıkesir. As a result of investigations conducted at the scene, it was confirmed that the deceased was Dilafruz Chuliyeva, who had been registered as a "missing person" by the Burhaniye District Immigration Administration.

The body was sent to the relevant institution in Bursa for a forensic medical examination.

In connection with this incident, the woman's alleged lover, 44-year-old I.I., and his acquaintances — B.N. (40), B.U. (40), and M.K. (22) — were detained. After interrogation, I.I. was arrested by court order, while the other three individuals were released without detention pending judicial proceedings.

The deceased's son, Shahrukh Turakulov, had previously stated that his mother suffered from diabetes and that serious complications could arise if she did not take her medication on time, and had asked for help.

According to information, Dilafruz Chuliyeva had gone to Turkey for work and was caring for an elderly patient in Burhaniye district. On January 21, she obtained permission to go to the market and did not return. After her relatives and employers reported her missing, Uzbekistan's diplomatic missions in Turkey were also informed about her disappearance.

Investigative actions regarding the case are ongoing.
