According to data from the National Statistics Committee, approximately 879.6 thousand live births were recorded in Uzbekistan during 2025. Among the regions with the highest number of newborns, the city of Namangan took the lead.
It is reported that a total of 879,599 live births were registered across Uzbekistan in 2025. At the same time, a ranking of the districts and cities with the most newborns was also formed.
According to it, the city of Namangan took first place with 18,524 births. The subsequent places were occupied by Urgut district of Samarkand region (16,212) and the city of Andijan (14,581).
The list also includes Denov district (12,406), the city of Samarkand (11,819), Pastdargom district (9,782), Koson district (9,159), Kamashi district (9,115), Almazar district of Tashkent city (9,035), and Asaka district (8,266).
