The United States today carried out a flight to Uzbekistan and repatriated 72 Uzbek nationals who did not have legal permission to remain in the country. The U.S. Embassy in Uzbekistan announced this.
It is reported that this flight is one of the ongoing measures by the U.S. to secure its border security and curb illegal immigration. Since President Donald Trump took office, over 1,000 Uzbek nationals have been deported from the U.S.
The Embassy emphasized that individuals who enter U.S. territory illegally can face imprisonment and deportation. At the same time, the U.S. government expressed its deep gratitude to Uzbekistan for its cooperation in carrying out deportation measures.
