It has been determined that 36-year-old Hurriyat Tursunboeva, who was reported missing in Turkey's Istanbul province in 2019, was killed by her husband. According to investigation data, the suspect killed the woman in her home during an argument. He hid the body for a while, then dismembered it and threw it into a garbage container. The man and his friend, who is said to have helped him, have been apprehended in connection with the case.
Upon the instruction of the Istanbul police leadership, old missing persons cases were reviewed. During the re-investigation, evidence of the crime was identified through neighbors' testimonies, phone data, and inspections conducted at the house, and traces of blood were found in the apartment.
The suspect confessed to the crime during interrogation and explained how he disposed of the body. It was also revealed that after the incident, he hid using another person's documents. The man was apprehended in March of this year while crossing the border into Turkey. Currently, both suspects have been handed over to the court, and the investigation is ongoing.
