On March 18, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, visited Samarkand region. The head of state began his visit by familiarizing himself with the activities of the Youth Creative Park in the city of Samarkand.

In recent years, as the city's population has grown and new residential areas and social facilities have been built, the need for green areas and recreation zones has increased. For this purpose, within the framework of the nationwide "Green Space" project, millions of seedlings are planted annually.

A Youth Creative Town and a public park have been established on a 5.4-hectare area built on the site of a former military hospital. A modern library, educational centers, artificial intelligence and robotics departments, as well as sports and recreation infrastructure have been created here.

The President also familiarized himself with the activities of the "Profi deutsch" German language center. The center offers the opportunity to obtain the international "Telc" certificate, which opens the way for young people to study abroad.

During the visit, the head of state communicated with young people, expressing his support for their initiatives. Officials were given instructions to increase the number of such modern facilities in Samarkand.
