The illegal sale of "Keto coffee mix" products containing a potent substance has been stopped in Andijan region.
During an operational event conducted jointly by the State Security Service and the Customs Committee, a citizen born in 1991 was detained at a shopping complex in Markhamat district while selling 900 units of "Keto coffee mix" for 6 million soums.
The investigation revealed that these products were purchased from a store located in the "Jahon Savdo Kompleksi" area in Andijan city. Subsequently, during further operational measures, another 480 units of "Keto coffee mix" were seized from a store belonging to a person born in 1987.
According to reports, it was determined that the total of 11 kilograms of confiscated products contained the potent substance "sibutramine," whose circulation is prohibited in the territory of Uzbekistan.
Law enforcement authorities have initiated a criminal case regarding this incident, and investigation activities are currently ongoing.
