A Lockheed Martin C-130 Hercules military transport plane carrying 125 people crashed in Colombia. Reuters reported this.
It is reported that there were 114 passengers and 11 crew members on the plane. It crashed approximately two kilometers after taking off from the city of Puerto Leguizamo in the south.
As a result of the crash, 66 people died. Search operations for the missing continue.
Two planes have been mobilized to evacuate the injured, and they have been taken to hospitals in Bogota and other cities.
Military personnel are working at the scene. The causes of the crash have not yet been determined.
