Yesterday, on June 2, the head of the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan, Saida Mirziyoyeva, met with the Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), Feridun Sinirlioğlu. Mirziyoyeva reported this on her Telegram channel announced.
It was noted that at the beginning of the conversation, Feridun Sinirlioğlu recalled his recent visit to Uzbekistan and his meeting with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev with warm impressions. He also stated that the OSCE is ready to support the initiatives put forward by the Uzbek side.
During the meeting, issues of combating transnational threats, cooperation in the field of digital technologies and artificial intelligence, protecting the interests of youth, ensuring gender equality, and reforms in the judicial and legal system were discussed.
The parties exchanged views on the prospects for cooperation in these areas and noted the importance of further expanding mutual dialogue.
