Today, on June 4, due to a high-voltage outage in Tashkent city's power grids, a short-term malfunction was observed on several lines of the capital's metro.

According to Tashkent Metro, around 12:41, due to an interruption in the city's electricity supply, the power supply on the Uzbekistan, Chilanzar, and Yunusobod lines of the metro temporarily stopped.

It was noted that the incident affected the movement of trains as well as the operation of lighting systems at stations.

According to the metro, the situation was quickly brought under control. Backup generators were activated until the power supply was fully restored.

Currently, train movement is being carried out under the supervision of responsible specialists. Work to eliminate the consequences of the incident and fully restore the power supply is ongoing.
