The Ministry of Culture expressed its position regarding the draft decision on the mandatory registration of services of artists and leaders who have caused discussions on social networks through the "Tax" application.
It is reported that the project was developed by the Ministry of Justice and reviewed together with Uzbekconcert. Despite the ministry's official objections and proposals on some clauses, the document was put up for public discussion.
It is noted that according to the current procedure, artists have already been paying social tax and annual income tax. The ministry stated that it supports the fair determination of tax amounts by categories, simplification of mechanisms, and preservation of acceptable conditions for industry representatives under the new project.
