A person who promised to send citizens on the sacred Hajj pilgrimage and took 9,000 dollars from them was arrested in Asaka district of Andijan region.

According to information, a resident of Asaka district, born in 1975, demanded 9,000 dollars each, totaling 18,000 dollars, from a citizen born in 1996 and his mother in exchange for arranging their Hajj pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.

During an operational action conducted jointly by the State Security Service's Andijan regional office and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes, he was caught red-handed while receiving an advance payment of 9,000 dollars.
