Uzbek chess player Nodirbek Abdusattorov has entered the top three in the world in blitz rating.
Thanks to his successful performances in recent tournaments, he rose two places and moved up to 3rd place in the world ranking.
According to the current rating, Norwegian Magnus Carlsen is first with 2877.4 points, American Hikaru Nakamura is second with 2838 points. Abdusattorov rounds out the top three with 2802.5 points.
Thus, the 21-year-old grandmaster has further strengthened his position among the elite of world chess in the blitz discipline.
For reference, Nodirbek Abdusattorov won a bronze medal at the FIDE World Championship in Freestyle Chess held in February of this year in the resort of Weissenhaus, Germany, and officially secured a spot in the 2027 World Championship.
