Shavkat Mirziyoyev familiarized himself with the activities of the national pavilions within the framework of the Regional Ecological Summit exhibition organized at the "EXPO" International Exhibition Center in Astana.
During the visit, delegations from Mongolia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Armenia are also participating with their expositions, alongside the Central Asian states. Within the summit's framework, special attention is being paid to 8 priority areas of ecological policy, including climate change, improving air quality, waste management, and developing a "green" economy.
The Uzbekistan pavilion showcases the country's reforms in the field of ecological policy, nationwide projects such as "Green Space", "Clean Air", "Zero Waste Territory", as well as the work being carried out to restore the Aral Sea region.
Furthermore, the exposition also reflects Uzbekistan's contribution to expanding international cooperation, particularly in ecological relations with UN structures.
