It is known that the deputy head of the main department of one of the republic's banks in Andijan region, having the authority to sell properties pledged for credit provision through auctions and direct sales, used his official position for personal gain.

He took advantage of the fact that a 4-story building of a private medical center, located in Asaka district, with a total value of 16.8 billion soums, pledged as collateral for a loan, remained unsold at auction. The official, having reduced the price of this property to 12 billion soums and arranged for the bank to acquire it, demanded 90 thousand US dollars in exchange for providing it to a local entrepreneur without an auction through an interest-free loan for a period of 7 years.

During an operational event conducted by State Security Service officers, he was caught red-handed with material evidence while receiving 40 thousand US dollars.
