President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited a special exhibition organized in the Olympic Village today, June 30, on the occasion of Youth Day, and met with the country's active and enterprising young people.
The head of state familiarized himself with a number of projects related to neighborhood life, ecology, startups, engineering, reading, and culture, and spoke with their authors.
During the meeting, the activities of the "Obod ta'lim" training center in Fergana region, environmental startups, inclusive education projects, as well as youth initiatives in the fields of entrepreneurship and innovation were presented.
In particular, the head of state was introduced to the artificial intelligence-based platform "Makon AI" created by Asilbek Ashurov, a graduate of the Presidential School and a student at the University of Chicago, as well as a startup by young entrepreneur Sardorbek Rakhmatulloev, who operates in the United States.
In the engineering field, developments by Turin Polytechnic University student Bilolidin Ismoilov on local anti-drone systems and by Nukus State Technical University student Aizada Asanova on new-generation cars were showcased.
Also presented were projects to promote reading, cultural and educational initiatives, and the initiatives of creative young people. In particular, the "Mutolaa" mobile application and proposals aimed at developing literary tourism were discussed.
At the conclusion of the dialogue, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized that supporting promising projects and initiatives put forward by young people will remain one of the priority areas of state policy.
