By a relevant decree of the President of Uzbekistan, Muzaffar Murotovich Kamilov was appointed as Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Religious and Educational Affairs. This was reported by Presidential Press Secretary Sherzod Asadov.
It was noted that in connection with this appointment, Muzaffar Kamilov was relieved of his position as Head of the Department for Religious and Educational Affairs of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Until today, Muzaffar Kamilov had been engaged in coordinating state policy in the religious and educational sphere, ensuring the implementation of ongoing reforms in this direction, and organizing the activities of relevant agencies within the Presidential Administration.
It was emphasized that this personnel change was made with the aim of more effectively coordinating state policy in the religious and educational sphere and consistently continuing reforms in this area.
