The President signed the Constitutional Law "On the Tashkent International Financial Center".

The head of the Presidential Administration, Saida Mirziyoyeva, assessed this document as one of the most important economic news of this year and a logical result of the reforms being implemented in recent years.

According to her, the new law is aimed at forming a financial infrastructure in the country that meets international standards, improving the investment climate, and increasing Uzbekistan's competitiveness in international capital markets.

According to the document, a special legal regime will be introduced for investors and financial organizations in the territory of the Tashkent International Financial Center. The center will operate an independent financial regulator, an international commercial court, and modern dispute resolution mechanisms.

The new center will be developed as a financial ecosystem encompassing banking and investment services, capital markets, insurance, Islamic finance, fintech, digital assets, asset management, as well as legal and consulting services.

According to the plan, by 2030, it is envisaged to attract additional investments of up to 20–25 billion US dollars through the center, create up to 15,000 highly qualified jobs, and improve the qualifications of 10,000 specialists.

This initiative is noted as an important step towards forming an open and competitive economy, developing the private sector, and increasing the country's investment attractiveness.
