“Safe and Healthy Country” prompt-preventive measures resulted in the cessation of large-scale illegal drug trafficking through operational activities conducted by officers of the State Security Service. This was reported by the State Security Service.
According to the report, during a search of the temporary residence of a citizen born in Surkhandarya region in Tashkent, 13 kilograms and 50 grams of opium and 7 kilograms and 137 grams of hashish were discovered and officially confiscated as material evidence.
A criminal case has been initiated under Articles 246 and 273 of the Criminal Code in connection with this incident. Currently, his criminal accomplices and the sources of the narcotic substances are being identified.
Furthermore, in another operational activity conducted in cooperation with the State Security Service and the capital's Department of Internal Affairs, two citizens who had organized a virtual drug trafficking channel were apprehended. Hashish and hashish oil were confiscated from them.
