President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed condolences to the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, on the passing of his father, the former Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
In the head of state’s letter of sympathy, the unique contribution of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani to the socio-economic development of the country, the implementation of large-scale construction works, the improvement of the well-being of the population, and the progress of Qatar was particularly emphasized.
“The bright memory and undying name of His Highness Sheikh Hamad Al Thani, who made a worthy contribution to raising the friendly relations and cooperation between Uzbekistan and Qatar to a new level, will forever remain in our hearts,” the letter states.
He was also recognized as a statesman who made a worthy contribution to bringing the friendly relations and cooperation between Uzbekistan and Qatar to a new stage.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed deep condolences to the Emir of Qatar, his family members and loved ones, as well as to the entire people of Qatar.
