Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Norbaeva has been awarded the "El-yurt hurmati" Order. This was done by the relevant decree of the President.

According to the decree, Tanzila Norbaeva was deemed worthy of the high state award for her many years of effective work in the field of state and public administration, and for her special services in the development of parliamentary activities and the consistent implementation of democratic reforms in New Uzbekistan.

Also recognized were her contributions to strengthening the legal foundations of national statehood, upholding human dignity, enhancing the role and prestige of women in society, educating the younger generation in a spirit of patriotism, and her active participation in the socio-political life of the country.

Tanzila Norbaeva was born on July 24, 1956, in the Shakhrikhan district of the Andijan region. She graduated from Tashkent State University in 1981 and holds the academic degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences.

She began her career in 1974 as a youth leader at School No. 1 in Shakhrikhan. Subsequently, she worked in responsible positions at various levels of the education system and state administration. In 2010–2016, she led the Council of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan, and in 2016–2019, she served as Deputy Prime Minister and Chairperson of the Women's Committee of Uzbekistan.

Appointed a member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis by the President in June 2019, Tanzila Norbaeva was elected Chairperson of the Senate a day later.

Previously, she had also been awarded the "Mehnat shuhrati" Order and the "Shuhrat" Medal. Now, on the occasion of her 70th birthday, she has become the recipient of the "El-yurt hurmati" Order.
