Within the framework of the "Safe and Healthy Country" rapid preventive measures, employees of the State Security Service, in cooperation with the "Tashkent-Aero" specialized customs complex, conducted rapid search operations.

During the event, the luggage of a citizen of Kyrgyzstan, who arrived at Tashkent International Airport via the "Bangkok – Delhi – Tashkent" flight and moved through the "green" corridor, was inspected in accordance with the established procedure.

During the inspection, it was found that inside the shampoo bottles in his suitcases, there was "hashish oil" with a total weight of 11.8 kilograms.

After that, the operational measures continued, and it became known that this narcotic substance was left at an apartment in one of the multi-story buildings in the Yunusabad district of Tashkent. At the time of coming to pick it up, a citizen born in 2001, residing in the city of Chirchiq, was detained.

During the pre-investigation checks, it was determined that these narcotic substances were brought from Thailand and were planned to be transported through the territory of Uzbekistan to a neighboring republic.

In connection with this incident, a criminal case has been initiated against the offenders under Part 2 of Article 246 (smuggling) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

At present, a "detention" preventive measure has been applied to the suspects, and investigative actions are ongoing.
