It was reported that in January–June of this year, the company produced 11.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas. Also, the production volumes of oil, diesel fuel, aviation kerosene, and liquefied gas were higher than forecast indicators.

By the end of the year, it is planned to produce 1 million 100 thousand tons of automobile gasoline, 983 thousand tons of diesel fuel, 310 thousand tons of aviation kerosene, 606 thousand tons of liquefied gas, and about 1 million 180 thousand tons of synthetic products by Uzbekneftegaz.

It was also noted at the meeting that against the background of changes in the geopolitical situation in the world, the number of flights in the Central Asian direction is increasing. In particular, the number of flights to Uzbekistan has increased compared to 2025.

In this regard, in July–December of this year, demand for aviation kerosene is expected to be 375 thousand tons. This is 27 percent more than in the same period of last year. It is planned that the main part of the demand will be met through local oil refineries.

Due to the introduction of restrictions on the export of petroleum products in some partner countries, work has been organized to import aviation kerosene from alternative sources, including Georgia, Iraq, and other countries.

Also, information was provided on plans to modernize the joint-stock company “Uzbekgeophysics” in order to increase the efficiency of geological exploration work.

It was noted that 38.8 million dollars are expected to be allocated for updating mining geophysical equipment and purchasing a modern field 3D seismic complex.

In addition, work is underway to establish a seismic data processing center in cooperation with the American company “Schlumberger”. The center will be equipped with a modern supercomputer complex, and the widespread use of artificial intelligence technologies in seismic surveys will be established.

As a result of these measures, it is planned to increase the area of 3D seismic surveys from 1,800 square kilometers per year to 5,000 square kilometers, and the depth of surveys from 4,500 meters to 8,000 meters. It is also planned to increase the number of promising geological structures from 19 to 30.

At the meeting, tasks were set to introduce modern technologies in well construction, including the use of materials resistant to high temperatures and pressures, ultrasonic logging, real-time geophysical monitoring, and the widespread use of horizontal drilling methods.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized the need to take additional measures to ensure stable and uninterrupted supply of petroleum products to the population and economic sectors.

Also, instructions were given on technological renewal of industry enterprises, increasing energy efficiency, reducing production costs, and strictly monitoring the implementation of assigned tasks.
