President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, on the occasion of Construction Industry Workers' Day, sent congratulations to builders, architects, engineers, designers and veterans of the field.
In his congratulatory message, it was noted that over the past 9 years, more than 210 million square meters of buildings and structures have been built in the country, and housing with 647,000 apartments was constructed. It was emphasized that another 140,000 new apartments will be commissioned in 2026.
It was also stated that the permitting stages in construction were reduced threefold, and the timeframes fourfold. Management and control processes have also been digitalized.
