President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced new initiatives aimed at supporting business during an open dialogue with entrepreneurs. According to him, those starting entrepreneurial activities will be allocated unsecured loans of up to 200 million soums.
The head of state said that ensuring a sustainable growth trajectory for entrepreneurship has been identified as the first direction.
It was noted that the share of small business in banks' loan portfolios increased from 45 percent to 63 percent. In the first half of this year, 76.5 trillion soums of resources were allocated to small and medium businesses.
Also, the "Unified Digital Portal of Credit Services" was recently launched. Now an entrepreneur submits one application, and banks compete with each other for the client. Those just starting a business will be able to obtain loans of up to 5 billion soums online.
The President announced the creation of a unified ecosystem corresponding to every stage of entrepreneurship.
According to him, the programs "Business Start" for new entrepreneurs, "Business Lift" for those who have established production, and "Business Rise" for those transitioning to a new stage of growth will be introduced.
Under the "Business Start" program, entrepreneurs will be taught to prepare projects using artificial intelligence, formalize credit documents, and maintain reporting.
100 billion soums will be allocated for these purposes. Entrepreneurs will be provided with the opportunity to receive an unsecured loan of up to 200 million soums along with a ready-made business plan.
"We will create a comprehensive system that does not just give a loan to an entrepreneur, but supports him from the first step until he grows into a big business," said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
