According to data, some of them are being held in penal institutions or deportation centers. The rest have been released on the condition that they do not leave the country's territory. Legal measures are being determined based on the degree of each person's involvement in the situation and the amount of funds transferred.

Uzbekistan's Consulate General in Istanbul has taken control of the situation and stated that it is providing consular and legal assistance to citizens.

The consulate also called on Uzbek citizens living or staying in Turkey not to give their bank cards and account numbers to other people. Citizens were advised not to accept funds of unknown origin and not to transfer them to other addresses.

It should be noted that, according to Turkish legislation, such actions may lead to serious legal liability.
