President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a letter to President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and congratulated him on the successful holding of elections to the country's renewed parliament — the Qurultai.
Mirziyoyev noted that these elections have launched a new stage in improving Kazakhstan's political system, increasing the efficiency of public administration, and strengthening the role of parliament.
The President noted that the active participation of citizens in the elections indicates broad public support for the constitutional and socio-political reforms being implemented in the country.
The importance of further developing cooperation between the parliaments of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance relations was also emphasized.
