The event discussed ongoing reforms to modernize the public administration system, improve the quality of public services, and introduce effective management mechanisms that serve the interests of citizens.
It was noted that in recent years, new approaches aimed at strengthening professionalism, transparency, and accountability to the public have been introduced in Uzbekistan's civil service system. In particular, the adoption of the Law "On Civil Service" in 2022 was recognized as an important step in this area.
The event reported that an exchange of experience in public administration has been established between Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates, and that in March–April of this year, foreign and local experts analyzed the activities of 41 ministries, committees, and agencies. The award recipients were identified based on the results of this assessment.
The ceremony was attended by the Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Nuriddin Ismoilov, and the Presidential Advisor on Personnel Policy, Gofurjon Mirzaev.
According to the award results, the Ministry of Justice was named the winner in the "Best Ministry" nomination. The ministry also won in the categories of effective implementation of the "Uzbekistan – 2030" strategy, innovations, effective management, and integrated support mechanisms.
The Ministry of Mining and Geology was recognized as the best state body in resource management, human capital development, and integrated support mechanisms.
