A person who was growing 435 opium poppy plants in a greenhouse in one of the households in Tashkent district of Tashkent region was identified. This was reported by “Millar”.
According to reports, during an operational event, when a house in Bahor mahalla was inspected, it was found that opium poppy, considered a narcotic substance, was being secretly cultivated in the back part of the greenhouse.
It is said that the suspect had previously served a sentence for the same type of crime.
Currently, pre-investigation inquiries are ongoing regarding the incident.
Earlier, it was reported that a citizen who was growing 160 poppy-like plants in one of the households in Olmazor district was identified and detained.
