In Tashkent, those who embezzled nearly 600 million soums worth of electricity were detained.
In the Olmazor district of Tashkent city, the Kibray district of Tashkent region, and the city of Ohangaron, cases of illegal use of electricity worth over half a billion soums in total were detected. This was reported by the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor’s Office.
According to the report, “Z.S.” LLC in Kibray district illegally used 279.7 million soums worth of electricity, “P.P.” LLC in Ohangaron city illegally used 180.5 million soums, and a catering outlet in Olmazor district illegally used 111.9 million soums worth of electricity.
Criminal cases have been initiated under Article 169 (theft) of the Criminal Code in relation to these cases, and investigative actions are being carried out.
