A fire broke out in a restaurant kitchen in Tashkent.

According to the Emergency Situations Department, at 12:15 a report was received that the roof section of a restaurant on Bunyodkor Highway was on fire.

Rescue crews arrived at the location at 12:22, and the fire was completely extinguished at 12:27.

No casualties were recorded as a result of the incident.

Also, the official statement said that, contrary to what was circulated on social media, the fire occurred not on the roof of a 9-story building, but in the kitchen hood of the restaurant.
