This campaign is being organized on the basis of the President's decree under the nationwide project "Clean Air," aimed at improving atmospheric air quality.
According to the document, starting from May 1, 2026, the "Car-Free Day" and "Car-Free Week" campaigns will be held on the 10th and 25th of each month.
By the decree, employees of state organizations and institutions are strictly prohibited from using official vehicles on the days the campaign is held. At the same time, if these days fall on a workday, drivers' wages will be retained.
It is also established that the use of official cars during the "Car-Free Day" campaign will be considered a violation of ethical rules by state civil servants.
Failure to comply with the established requirements will serve as grounds for bringing heads of state bodies and organizations to disciplinary liability regarding employees.
The Eco-Committee has called on employees of state organizations and citizens to support this initiative.
