The leading legal consultant of the Andijan division of the Energosavdo branch of Regional Electric Networks JSC demanded 5,000 US dollars in exchange for eliminating 788.4 million soums of material damage calculated for improper use of electricity, according to a formalized report against an LLC engaged in agricultural production.
On May 1 of this year, he received 500 US dollars of the requested amount.
During an operational action conducted in cooperation with the State Security Service and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes, he was caught with material evidence at the time of receiving the remaining 4,500 US dollars.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against the legal consultant, and investigative actions are underway.
