The woman named Lalita Kumar spent 40 days without eating or drinking.
Fortunately saved, the woman was rushed to the hospital for emergency medical treatment.
Police officers suspect that the woman was chained by her husband, with whom she has lived in the forest for over 10 years. Lalita Kumar is in such a critical condition that she is unable to speak with the police officers.
Doctors say the woman's life is in danger.
