The regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations announced that a plane Олекминск made an "emergency landing" one and a half kilometers away from the city of Olekminsk, reports zamon.uz.

Photos published by the department show the airplane crashed into the forest and suffered serious damage.

 Ан-3 had five people on board — two passengers and three crew members. One passenger died. A criminal case has been initiated by the Investigative Committee on the violation of air transport operation safety.

 According to the Baza Telegram channel, which is close to the security forces, the crash might have been caused by an engine failure.
