Earlier, a fire was reported in a hotel located in the Mirabad district of Tashkent city. The Ministry of Emergency Situations has commented on the situation, stating that the fire has been extinguished.
It is noted that today, on October 16, at 17:17, a report was received by the Ministry of Emergency Situations about a fire occurring on the roof of one of the hotels undergoing reconstruction on Shakhrisabz Street in Mirabad district of Tashkent city. Accordingly, 14 fire and rescue teams arrived at the scene at 17:24, the fire was contained by 18:19 and extinguished by 19:16.
It has been revealed that Major General Abdulla Quldashev, the Minister of Emergency Situations, Shavkat Umurzokov, the mayor of Tashkent city, along with the leadership of the Tashkent city Emergency Situations, Internal Affairs departments, National Guard, and the prosecutor's office, arrived at the scene and fully monitored the fire extinguishing process.
“There have been no reports of citizens being injured or deceased as a result of the fire. Currently, the cause of the fire and the extent of material damage are being determined”, the report says.
