According to the results of the second phase of the “Illegal-2024” operation conducted in Moscow, more than two thousand migrants will be expelled from Russia. This was reported by “RIA Novosti” here.
Following the review of administrative materials by judicial authorities, more than two thousand decisions to administratively expel foreign nationals from Russia were made, 20 decisions on the deportation of foreign nationals, and 12 individuals have been deported, states the report.
It is highlighted that police officers have identified more than 13,000 violations of migration laws. 420 criminal cases have been initiated on organizing illegal migration.
“Illegal-2024” — is a series of rapid-response prevention measures aimed at curbing illegal migration in Russia. The first phase took place in Russia in June, during which, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, more than 50,000 violations in the migration field were detected within a week, and nearly 9,000 foreigners were expelled from the country.
