Jahongirbek and Vasilakhon (names are changed), who live in Beshariq district of Fergana region, got married full of hopes and dreams. However, after having a child, disagreements led to a rift in their family.

Vasilakhon, whose dreams turned into mirages, was forced to leave her minor child behind and walk out of the house she entered as a bride.

Standing on the threshold of her second year, the mother, leaving her tender child in the father's care, sought help from human rights defenders thinking about her child's future. She appealed to the Inter-district Civil Court of Uzbekistan.

During the court session, attended by both parties and impartial witnesses, this matter was thoroughly examined, and a fair decision was made. Considering the necessity of the child, born in 2023, for maternal care, it was decided to return the child to the mother's upbringing.

After the court's execution document was accepted for processing by the MIB Beshariq district division, and enforcement actions began, Jahongirbek attempted another “feat”.

–The increasing number of family separations in our society, the upbringing of children, and their financial support have become one of the painful issues. The fact that innocent children suffer more from family separations, which are not characteristic of our national identity, is worrisome – says Yoldashali Abdunazarov, the state executor of MIB Beshariq district.

Despite several warnings from the state executors, Jahongirbek seriously resisted handing over his son to maternal care. He was subjected to administrative liability, and his rights and obligations specified in the law were explained to him.

Currently, the child has been safely returned to the mother's care, and the execution of the document has been completed.
